The coindexter club financial literacy program for children

Our modular, lightweight but sturdy structure sets up easily and quickly in the school. The 4’ X 8’ size provides space for one or two children plus one adult. The children are given the title of teller or assistant branch manager and handle the deposit transactions under the oversight of a faculty member. With the cooperation of your local school board, this is an enormously effective method to develop good savings habits and teach responsible money management.

The bright, attractive exterior of “Coindexter Bank” or “Coindexter Credit Union” (featuring your institution name and logo as the sponsor) is the perfect complement to the Coindexter curriculum and provides the path to unparalleled growth in your youth accounts. Couple all this with the benefits of your Coindexter Club program and you have a complete program that benefits your entire community!

Note to Banks: The Federal Reserve, FDIC and OCC do not require an application to establish an in-school bank branch. Most state departments of banking and finance concur.

Note to CREDIT UNIONS:Federal Credit Unions are not required to seek the permission of the NCUA to establish a branch of that credit union in a school. State credit unions should inquire with their state regulatory agency for specific information pertaining to that state.
